THE FUEL
GAUGE

12-week cash flow forecasting. The number one reason businesses fail is not bad marketing or bad employees — it's running out of cash. The Fuel Gauge makes sure you always see it coming, with enough time to do something about it.

Let me ask you something

WHAT DOES YOUR BANK
ACCOUNT LOOK LIKE IN 8 WEEKS?

Right now — if I asked you to tell me exactly what your business bank account will look like in 8 weeks — could you? Not guess. Not hope. Actually tell me.

Most business owners can't. They're running on:

Checking the bank account every morning and hoping the number is okay

Waiting for invoices to come in and hoping they arrive before bills go out

Discovering cash problems in the moment — when it's already too late

Making big purchases based on how things feel, not what the numbers say

And then one day the tank hits empty.

Not because the business was failing. Not because you made terrible decisions. But because you couldn't see it coming. The Fuel Gauge fixes that.

The solution

SEE IT COMING.
BEFORE IT HITS.

The Fuel Gauge is a 12-week cash flow forecasting tool. It shows you — week by week — exactly what your bank account will look like three months from now, based on your actual expenses and expected income.

It's not accounting software. It's not a P&L. It's a simple spreadsheet that you update every Monday morning in 30–45 minutes — and it gives you the visibility to make decisions with information instead of hope.

When you can see that Week 8 is going to be tight — you know to chase that invoice now, hold off on that equipment purchase, or go close another deal. You're not reacting. You're managing.

How it works

THREE STEPS.
ZERO SURPRISES.

01Know Your Tank

Cash Flow Is Not the Same as Revenue

You could have a great month — bring in a lot of money — and still have almost nothing in your bank account. That's because cash flow tracks the timing of money coming in and going out. It shows you the gap between when you spend and when you get paid. The Fuel Gauge shows you how full or empty your tank is — not just today, but 12 weeks into the future. Think of it like the fuel gauge on a motorcycle. You can be riding down the road, engine running great, everything feeling fine — but if you don't watch that gauge, you run out of gas in the middle of nowhere.

  • Cash flow ≠ revenue — a profitable month can still leave you broke
  • The Fuel Gauge tracks timing: when money goes out vs. when it comes in
  • See your running balance 12 weeks into the future — not just today
  • The #1 reason businesses fail is not bad marketing — it's running out of cash
02Build the Sheet

12 Weeks, Side by Side

The sheet is built on a simple structure: 12 weeks, laid out side by side. Each column is one week, starting on a Sunday. You can see your whole next three months at a glance. Step 1: List every expense by category — office and operations, fuel, repairs, advertising, insurance, subscriptions, payroll, and financing. Step 2: Enter your starting cash — how much is in your business bank account right now. Step 3: Project your income — list each client and when you expect to get paid. You're projecting, not recording. That's what makes this powerful.

  • List all expenses by category: payroll, fuel, insurance, ads, subscriptions, financing
  • Enter your current bank balance as the starting point
  • Project income by client — when do you expect each payment to arrive
  • You don't need QuickBooks — a spreadsheet and your best estimates are enough to start
03Watch the Running Balance

See the Warning Light Before It's Too Late

Here's where the magic happens. Each week, the sheet takes your starting cash, subtracts your expenses, adds your expected income, and gives you a running balance. That balance carries forward into the next week, and the next, all the way out 12 weeks. So you can see — right now — what your bank account looks like in eight weeks. In 10 weeks. In 12 weeks. If that number starts getting uncomfortably low — or goes negative — you have weeks to fix it. You can push a client to pay sooner. You can hold off on a purchase. You can go close another deal. You have time to react instead of being blindsided.

  • Running balance carries forward automatically week by week
  • See your projected bank balance 12 weeks out at a glance
  • Negative number on the horizon = warning light — you have time to act
  • Update every Monday — takes 30–45 minutes once the foundation is built
A real example

START WITH
$20,000 IN THE BANK.

Here's what the Fuel Gauge shows you — and why seeing Week 3 in Week 1 changes everything.

WeekExpensesIncomeBalance
Week 1-$4,000$0$16,000
Week 2-$4,400$0$11,600
Week 3-$8,100+$1,000$4,500
Week 4-$4,000+$10,000$10,500

Because you can see Week 3's tight balance during Week 1, you know to call that client now and ask for early payment — or hold off on buying that piece of equipment. You're making decisions with information instead of guessing.

"Most businesses don't fail because the owner stopped caring. They fail because the owner didn't see the empty tank coming. The Fuel Gauge makes sure you always see it coming — with enough time to do something about it."

Who it's for

EVERY STAGE.
EVERY SIZE.

Beginners

No P&L? No Problem. Start Here.

If you don't have a current profit and loss statement, no balance sheet, no real financial system yet — start here. This is the one tool that will immediately show you where your money is going and keep you from running out of cash. You don't need QuickBooks set up perfectly. You need a spreadsheet, your best estimates, and a habit of updating it once a week.

Advanced Operators

$500K, $1M, $3M — The Stakes Get Higher.

As your revenue grows, the swings get bigger. One client who owes you $80,000 and pays late can wreck your payroll. At that level, the Fuel Gauge becomes even more critical because it helps you manage large cash gaps before they turn into crises. This is a tool for everyone — but the bigger the business, the more it matters.

STOP GUESSING
WHAT'S COMING.
SEE IT NOW.

The Fuel Gauge gives you a clear picture of your cash position 12 weeks out — so you can make decisions with information, not hope.

One spreadsheet. Updated every Monday. Zero surprises.
